Our Russian Blue Kitten Adoption Process

Bringing home a kitten should feel thoughtful, clear, and personal. California Fluff Cattery uses an inquiry and placement process designed to help each Russian Blue kitten join a prepared, loving family.

This is not an online product store. Kitten profiles provide availability information, but no kitten is sold through an automatic checkout. Every placement requires direct communication, an approved inquiry, and a written adoption agreement.

How the Process Works

1. Explore our information. Read about the Russian Blue breed, kitten care, current availability, and our answers to common questions.
2. Send an inquiry. Complete the contact form with accurate contact, household, location, and kitten preference information.
3. We review the fit. We consider the kitten's needs, your home, timing, preferences, and readiness for a lifelong commitment.
4. Discuss availability. We contact suitable families directly to answer questions and discuss a current kitten, adult cat, or waiting list position.
5. Complete the reservation steps. An accepted reservation is documented directly with California Fluff Cattery. Deposit and placement terms are provided in writing before payment.
6. Prepare for homecoming. Families receive care guidance while the kitten completes the age appropriate health and social development planned before leaving our care.

Availability and Matching

Availability can change as kittens grow and suitable families are identified. Sending an inquiry does not guarantee approval, a particular kitten, or a specific pickup date. We may recommend the waiting list when the right match is not currently available.
